Dear devotees: In this video we take you to Rama-Keli, the capitol of the medieval Sultan of Bengal, Nawab Hussain Shah, who forcibly employed Rupa and Sanatan Goswami’s in his government. We relate the pastime in detail and take you on a tour of the remains of the Sultan’s palace, including the prison that Sanatan Goswami was kept in for 19 months. That structure is the building you see us inspecting in the dark.

Dear devotees: Throughout the year the worship of Radha Raman is shared by a number of Goswami families. Each family gets to worship Gopal Bhatta Goswami’s beloved deity for one week. This week the worship is being conducted by my dear friend, Pundrik Goswami. To celebrate, we joined him and his assistants for a large harinama through Vrindavan the evening he officially received the “keys” to the altar. Then we all took darshan of Radharaman. There will be a number of special events throughout the week which we will share with you through photos and videos!

The Radha Raman temple held a huge parade around Vrindavan yesterday on the appearance day of Srila Gopal Bhatta Goswami. My good friend Pundrik Gpswami invited us to participate. We relished chanting the holy names alongside the Vrajavasis!

Dear devotees: The other day I was invited for prasadam at the famous Radha Damodar temple in Vrindavan established by Srila Jiva Goswami 500 years ago. Taking along a small group of devotees we were greeted by Kanika Prasad Goswami who took us on an extended tour of the temple; including the deities on the altar, the sacred samadhis of Rupa Goswami and Jiva Goswami, and the rooms where Srila Prabhupada stayed from 1959 – 1965 preparing for his mission in the west. Srila Prabhupada once said that the area between Rupa Goswami’s samadhi and his bhajan kutir was the most auspicious place in the unviverse.

In this series, Indradyumna Swami discusses the paraphernalia in Krishna’s pastimes that help stimulate and awaken love for Radha and Krishna.
